The total experience was pleasant overnight, I would recomand. Rooms were newly renovated and reasonably large, everything was really good. The staff was exceptionally welcoming, the service was good, they shared some useful information. There...  

It was clean, staff was accommodating. The deluxe queen room we booked was airy. The location of this hotel was beautiful. It was across the good area.

We lovely spend 1 night in Penrith. The English breakfast included variety of meals. The location was remote, unbeatable on the C2C cycle route. Plus, it was very close to the pub which had a good range of beers...  

The room was neat with a work desk, coffee and tea making equipment, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

Particularly good and unbeatable location away from city life in a good area. A wide range of brilliant food for English breakfast.

My 5 nights in Penrith were wonderful. The staff was pleasant & exceptionally nice. The English bar was superb.

The room was great-sized with really good amenities. There was free Wi-Fi in the rooms and the service in general was great.

Friendly service and the food is outstanding. Make sure you stay in the standard queen room with the view of the river. The location is perfect and comfortable, on the coast to coast cycle route.

It was fairly clean with exceptionally welcoming staff. Ideal remote location just next door to the pub which had a good range of beers and wines, the restaurant of the pub and Pooley Bridge /Ullswater lake. The English bar was pleasant, really enjoyed this place.

Outstandingly accommodating staff, modern and en suite rooms with super shower. Fabulous food for all meals.

We greatly enjoyed this lovely and incredibly beautiful hotel with river views. The standard double room was recently refurbished and had central heating, a coffee/tea maker, and a work desk. The location was excellent and minutes from a lake and a park. The venue was a super base for enjoying a comfortable area.

Pleasant overnight experience there. Lovely and stunningly beautiful place with exceptionally welcoming staff. Very pretty location - not far from the Lake District, the restaurant on the evening, and the pub which had a good range of beers. Besides, excellent for visiting Catterlen Hall. Good-sized room and central heating, a coffee/tea maker, and a work desk inside.
